Ich habe mir erst nichts dabei gedacht, dass J. Tillman sich bei Twitter Father John Misty nannte. Heute habe ich endeckt, dass dahiner sein neuer Moniker steckt. Unter diesem Namen erscheint am 1. Mai sein neues Album Fear Fun auf Sub Pop!
Entertainment Weekly hat hier exklusiv das erste Video zu einem vielversprechenden Song.

Das neue Album von Damien Jurado kommt hierzulande offiziell am 21. Februar 2012.
Heute hatte ich allerdings über Twitter erfahren, dass Secretly Canadian das Album ab sofort zum Pre-Order hat.

Es gibt 3 Vinyl und CD Bundles und das Beste ist, dass man das Album dann auch per Instant Download bereits jetzt über das Label herunterladen kann!

Ich habe mir das Deluxe Bundle bestellt und hoffe, dass ich zu den Glücklichen gehören werde, die das grüne Vinyl bekommen.

What a fool have I been for discovering Warpaint as rececently as almost one year after their debut release The Fool? I even read an interview/article with them a couple of months ago without really noticing what it’s all about. Today they’re record was played in the record store.
It reminds me a bit of The Organ but with reminiscences of (some local german) – i don’t want to use the term “all girl” – indie bands of the early 00s.

Finally, I’ll get the chance to see Ryuichi Sakamoto playing live. I wish I could play violin as he searches violin players for the concert.
